AICRP-Pearl Millet Research station, JAU, Jamnagar has been honoured with "Best Performing AICRP Center- for overall performance during the period 2022-23". This award was given during 58th AGM of Pearl millet held at ICAR-Indian Institute of Millets Research, Hyderabad-30 during 10 - 11 July 2023. In this meeting JAU, Jamnagar has proposed two Pearl Millet hybrids (GHB 538 Improved Maru Sona and GHB 1294 Maru Moti) for it's identification at national level and both were accepted for its release at national level by varietal identification committee of AGM.
