A team of scientists namely Dr. D.K. Sadana , Head AGR Division , Dr. Anand Jain, Principal Scientist and Dr. Avnish Kumar Senior Scientist from National Bureau of Animal Genetic Resources  (NBAGR) , Karnal , Haryana has visited Cattle Breeding Farm from 10-10-2011 to 14-10-2011. The members are working on research programme on characterization, conservation and improvement of indigenous breeds of livestock.

       The team members were very much impressed by the performance of elite Gir and Jaffrabadi animals. These scientist also visited the field animals and herds of villages around Jungadh.
